SUPER-HI TIDE WONT STOP SHOOTOUT
- Damaging super-hi equinox tides occured on 19/20 March 07. Here's an update from Gypsea Centre
"The south dune took a bad hammering and we lost the southern access ramp as well as all the dune in front of the main ablution block which is also condemned and will have to be rebuilt. Both Coral Divers and Amorays permanent gazebo structures were completely destroyed.
Good news is that the dive industry pooled all of our resources and had the rubble and mess cleaned up by yesterday. Diving is back on track although the viz is still under 10 metres but recovering quickly.
